The Ripples Foundation UK was first established in 2005 under the name BME Concern. We started by giving support to BME women in the UK before starting to deliver women empowerment programs in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon through our sister organisation Ripples In Africa. In 2014, BME Concern and Ripples In Africa transitioned to Ripples Foundation, where we have over 10 years experience in delivering women empowerment and community development programs. Each of our offices in Africa work autonomously from each other, but collaborate to deliver Ripples Foundation projects in the villages we support across Africa.
Sponsored by the Sisters of Divine Providence, Room at the Inn provides emergency shelter and a stabilizing support system to women and families in need in St. Louis County, using a collaborative, interfaith effort of congregations and organizations throughout the St. Louis Region.

Sheltering Wings Organization
Sheltering Wings is a Christian missionary sending organization dedicated to impacting the world for Jesus Christ. We assist missionaries in their preparation and transition to life on the mission field. We support mission projects as missionaries identify the needs. Our projects include the building and running of an orphanage, school, and clinics in Burkina Faso, West Africa, as well as planting churches and working with other missionaries around the world. Jesus gave his life for us, so we seek to give our lives back to Him.
Sheltering Wings was started by Ruth Cox in June 1999. The mission is based on 2 Corinthians 5:17-20, we are called to bring the reconciliation of Christ to the nations – through partnering missionaries with a heart for service with countries that have need of transformation – physically but especially spiritually.
We began with a small child sponsorship program in Burkina Faso, West Africa, which has now grown into an orphanage, an elementary school, a technical school, and a medical clinic. The child sponsorship program now supports over 365 children.
